Over the weekend 5th and 6th January the 2008 British National Cyclo-Cross Championships were held in Sutton Park, Birmingham.
Riders from the club competed in the Under 10, Under 12, Youth and Veteran categories.
John Dowell rode a hard race in the fast, dry conditions to come in winner of his Veteran 70+ category (pictured), with Don Flint 4th.
Youth rider Ana Gill came 10th in the Under 14 girl category.
James Shaw was 5th Under 12, with William Gascoyne 7th and Tom Shaw 41st Under 10 and Jessica Willett 30th overall and 9th Under 10 Girl.
Heanor Clarion were joint 13th in the overall Club Teams Championship.
