Presentation Night PDF Print E-mail
Written by John Gott
Saturday, 31 January 2009

Last week the Presentation Evening and buffet took place, which was postponed from the usual late November date.

Presentation nightDon Flint opened proceedings with a short message of thanks to all who helped during 2008 to make the various events run smoothly.

A brief tribute was made to John Leese, who sadly passed away during the year.

Kath Leese was invited to present the trophies.

Life memberships of the club were presented to the following who over the years have given the club much support and help, and it was felt that this award was a recognition of that support and a reflection of the friendship within the club.

The new Life Members are:

  • Mick and Nancy Fenton.
  • John and Carol Purdy.
  • Phil and Sarah Hogg.
  • Anne and Martin Taylor-Wilde.
  • Kath Leese.
